Our private dog training programs are designed for owners who want personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to their dog’s behavior and goals. We work with basic obedience, leash pulling, reactivity, puppy training, and off-leash training. Private lessons are great for owners who want to be fully involved in the training process and learn how to communicate clearly with their dog.

Our board and train program is perfect for busy owners who want professional training results with hands-on guidance. Your dog will live and train with a professional trainer, learning obedience, leash manners, off-leash reliability, and behavior modification for issues like reactivity or poor impulse control. Owners will also receive a full day of go-home training sessions to ensure results transfer back home.

Our puppy training programs focus on building strong foundations during the most important stages of your dog’s life. We cover crate training, potty training, socialization, basic obedience, leash walking, and preventing common behavior problems before they start. Early training helps puppies grow into calm, confident, and well-behaved adult dogs.

About Tai Pham Dog Training
My name is Tai Pham, and I’m a professional dog trainer based in Bellevue serving Seattle and the greater Seattle area. I specialize in off-leash training, board and train programs, private dog training, puppy training, and working with reactive dogs.
I got into dog training because of my first dog, Ikura. I brought her home at 9 weeks old and became obsessed with training and communication. Within a few months, she was fully off leash, and we were training in parks, open fields, and real-world environments. During that time, I was also running a dog boarding business and started training my boarding clients’ dogs for free. Word spread quickly around the neighborhood, and that’s how I became known as the go-to dog trainer in the area.
As a dog owner myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when you call your dog and they don’t listen, when they pull on the leash, or when walks become stressful instead of enjoyable. My goal is to help owners build clear communication, structure, and trust with their dogs so they can enjoy more freedom and less stress in everyday life.
My training philosophy focuses on a balance of obedience, structure, play, and freedom. I don’t just want dogs to listen in the house — I want them to listen in real life, in parks, around distractions, and off leash. Training should improve both the dog’s life and the owner’s life.
I work with clients across Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah, and the greater Seattle area through private lessons and board and train programs. Whether you have a new puppy, a reactive dog, or a dog that just doesn’t listen, my goal is to help you build a dog that you can trust and enjoy anywhere.
My Training Goal For Every Dog
My goal is simple: I want you to be able to take your dog anywhere and trust them to listen. Whether that’s walking through the city, hiking off leash, relaxing at a coffee shop, or playing fetch in an open field, training should give you more freedom, not more stress. A well-trained dog should be able to listen, relax, and be part of your everyday life.

Tai gave us a true gift with his 3-week board and train program. Our dog Juniper basically had zero obedience (not for lack of trying), and when she returned to our home and family she was the best version of herself. She still had all of our favorite personality traits but actually listened when we recalled her, walked down the street without dragging us behind, and her overall anxiety in public settings has reduced. She is a confident and obedient family dog and it’s all thanks to the work that Tai did with her. We know it’s now our job to maintain all of that hard work and we are up for the challenge. But we could not have gotten to this place without him.

We sent our dog Lou to a three‑week board and train with Tai, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Lou came home incredibly well‑behaved, happy, and healthy. His obedience, both on‑leash and off‑leash has improved dramatically, and it’s clear he was cared for and trained with real skill and intention.
Lou absolutely loved Tai. When we saw him again a week later for our go‑home follow‑up session, Lou was so excited to see him. That session was just as valuable for us as the board and train was for Lou. Tai took the time to teach us how to properly work with Lou, understand what he needs, and maintain all the progress he made.
We’re so grateful for the foundation Tai built. Lou is doing wonderfully, and I’ll be continuing 1:1 private lessons with Tai so Lou can keep learning new skills and so I can keep growing as a dog owner, too. Highly recommend.

If you’re thinking about it - DO IT!! From day one, we knew Millie was special and that she would need someone just as special to help her reach her full potential. We are a German Shepherd family, and with our new Malinois/GSD mix puppy, we knew early on that strong, consistent training would be essential for us. Bringing Tai into our lives when Millie was just 5 months old was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made!
From the very beginning, Tai made my boyfriend and I feel confident, supported, and understood. As someone who is naturally anxious and a bit of a perfectionist, I always felt seen, heard, and encouraged. We could come to him with any questions or concerns, and he was always patient, thoughtful, and full of creative ideas.
In our private sessions, we’ve accomplished almost 100% off leash heel walking, solid down stays, and both basic and tons of advanced commands. The progress has been incredible to see.
